Having a biome all to yourself takes the edge off of getting geared up. Yes, you can get all of these benefits from the large Sideways biomes, but it’s unlikely that you’ll encounter an opponent at Fortnite Sideways Anomalies. But what makes these so overpowered is the small number of players that visit them. Players can also get overpowered Mythic Sideways weapons after visiting 1 or 2 Sideways Anomalies. As well, Cube Monsters drop a lot of ammo when eliminated.

And since the Cube Monsters are easy to kill, players can get full health and shield super quickly.
However, players should visit every Sideways Anomaly they can. Why Sideways Anomalies overpoweredĪside from the larger Sideways biome, players tend to ignore the Fortnite Sideways Anomalies. Once the Sideways Anomaly closes, another one will appear on the map. Cube Monsters will begin to spawn, and players will be able to spend a small amount of time inside the anomaly before it closes. When approached, the rifts will expand and create a smaller Sideways biome. Sideways Anomalies appear as purple rift-like markers on the map, and there are three on the map at all times. However, The Sideways biomes are not as accessible or rewarding as the Sideways Anomalies.
But there’s even more to this season’s madness.Įpic Games also threw in the new Sideways biomes. Like in Chapter 1, these cubes roll around the map leaving destruction in their wake. With Cubed being the Season 8 title theme, a bunch of Kevin Cubes have popped up all over the map. Where the past few seasons had themes that were easy to understand, Season 8 is a black swan. You will be able to find the Jump 23 Agent Jones skin in your Fortnite locker and show it off in-game. Following this, the Fortnite “investigate an anomaly” challenge at Shark Island will be marked as complete. Upon successful completion of this step, an anomaly will appear as a blue object nearby.
Unlocking the Jump 23 skin at Shark Island All in all, the actions will require you to crouch, perform an emote, and jump. All you have to do is follow the butterfly and copy the actions on the holograms. Upon further inspection, you will encounter a butterfly who will take you to some holograms of Agent Jones. There, you will be able to spot a bright light on top of the small cliff. Upon landing at shark island, head over to the northern part of the area. There is a huge rock structure that looks like a shark with its jaws open. Although the area is unmarked, it will be pretty obvious once you see it. This can be found towards the northwest side of the map, just north of Coral Castle. To begin the challenge, you will have to head over to a small island on the map known as Shark Island. If you have not reached level 28 yet, then there are many challenges for you to complete to gain some XP. This particular challenge becomes available when you reach level 28 of the battle pass. Once you know where to look, the challenge is relatively easy to complete. To get your hands on the Jump 23 variation skin, you will have to investigate an anomaly at Fortnite’s Shark Island. There are some variations of the Agent Jones skin that are available to unlock.
The release of Fortnite Season 6 has allowed fans to be able to play as Agent Jones, the character at the heart of the story.
